Lex Ruygrok first worked as an attorney with Bouland & Brush, LLC from 1994 until 2004 and rejoined the firm in 2014. Lex is a CPA as well as an attorney and his experience includes serving as a tax manager for a large international public accounting firm, as a tax director specializing in personal financial services for a large regional accounting firm, and as the CFO of a large multi-state title company. He has also operated his own accounting firm as well as a 1031 exchange company. Lex has taught tax courses at the University of Cincinnati and at Stevenson University and since 2010 he has been teaching income tax courses for the Robert H. Smith Business School at the University of Maryland. He concentrates his practice in taxation, estates and trusts, and probate and trust administration.
